Home away helpers provide the neighbourly help you need while you're out of town
We provide you the peace of mind that your home is being looked after and maintained so that when you return and step through your front door it was like you never left. We provide a variety of services tailored to your needs. We collect and secure post and parcels, water plants, take out/bring in the bins, feed fish and much more.
Our family found we had a need for help around our homes when we travelled out of town. We live in places that are just a little too far and inconvenient for friends and family to pitch in and help. We also wanted a professional vacation service on our schedule and shorter “pop-in” visits rather than a full time house-sitter and had no luck.
We would like to offer our communities this service. We offer pop-in scheduled visits or on demand visits when unexpected needs arise. We are covered by public liability insurance

Chris is a fantastic gardener and has many years experience in the profession, servicing gardens for elderly clients and maintaining wildflower forests and meadows at a sustainability center. She has always enjoyed being part of her local community. She worked at her local doctors surgery and liked being the friendly face and support patients needed when they first stepped through the door. She loves participating in her local WI meetings, going to yoga classes and walking in the Shropshire hills with her husband.
